Subway musicians in holiday mood

Posted on November 30th, 2006 by The SUBWAYblogger in Live Blogging On the Subway

Hey how ’bout that…the musicians in the subway have officially switched from their greatest hits to holiday tunes.

There’s this one guy I love at the Times Square stop. He usually plays all Mexican music. He plays a mean Feliz Navidad! Hour plays it a lot too, so if you are at 42nd Street, and hear that song you’ll know who I am taking about. He’s a guitar player/singer. Sometimes he has a sidekick with him as well.

Anybody know any other good ones?

Live from the subway, back to you in studio…

The Ebony Hillbillies are fantastic. CGT end of the shuttle on some mornings.

Hell yes, Jim. I just saw these two guys at the Time Square side of the “S” train. They have one of the MTA musician banners too. They were really good!
