Is it kosher to read Playboy on the subway?
The guy standing across from me thinks so. Sort of an odd publication to read in public, no?
He must be “reading it for the articles” while he’s on the train.

This is starting to become a far more regular sight. Last year, I saw a dude with a wrinkled up copy of Black Tail “reading” it as someone would do the Times.
Can someone be arrested or ticketed for doing that?

Replycame here a little late on this convo…but reading things like that in public is immoral. I remember being in Virgin Mega store in the book section and seeing a guy reading an inappropriate mag like nothing was wrong. I quickly walked to the other far–side. :-/
ReplyThat’s just flat out ballsy. I wouldn’t even have the guts to pick up a Maxim or Stuff, let alone a Playboy, let alone a Black Tail.
It seems like it should be illegal being that it’s public nudity … indecent exposure?
