Referring to the MTA's water plan and then starting with the tidal energy project almost makes it seem like the tidal water will be in the station as opposed to the MTA tapping into the existing Verdant Power Roosevelt Island Tidal Energy (RITE) project.

Under the plan the MTA will be building an electrical cable to run from the subway station North along the East Channel of the East River up to the location where the turbines are located just North of the Roosevelt Island Bridge.
