		<description>Great!  Glad to hear it the MTA remains a priority.  

Fare hikes are reasonable - we are clearly behind the pace of inflation as we try to support operating expenses.  Rate hikes should follow a regular schedule.  It&#039;s foolish to expect them to occur once every 10 years.

Perhaps we could institute zone and peak pricing on the MTA system as well.  Let&#039;s abandon this notion that riding one or two stops is equivalent to a ride to the end of a line. 

The words in your post about congestion pricing are on-the-mark.  Vehicles are a luxury in Manhattan.</description>
