Poll: Subway Station Takover Ads

Posted on October 9th, 2008 by The SUBWAYblogger in Live Blogging On the Subway

Do you think the MTA should allow larger scale subway station takeover ads?  For example, our Canadian brothers and sisters have this sort of advertising on their turnstiles.

Well, if it might reduce the fare or pay for cleaner stations, sure. Otherwise, just to fatten up the fat cats over at MTA, no.

exactly. let the advertisers offset fare. and let the phone companies advertise all over the place if it means we get reception underground.

I think sponsors would make sure “their” station was clean and well maintained.
