Inflatable Subway Art?
Artist Joshua Allen Harris decided one day to make an inflatable bear that automatically inflates when the subway passes by.
The flacid bear gets attached to a subway grate. The flow of air passing up from below as the train goes by inflates the bear to full, four-legged stance.

Subway Mariachi Band
I love a good subway mariachi band. By far the most entertaining of the “on-train” subway performances.
How do you know it’s raining out in NYC? Your commute will probably look something like this…or worse.

The tracks or rails of the subway are actually supposed to flex to some degree as the trains run over them. They bow and bend slightly in response to the stress placed on them.
If they were to ridged, they would literally snap when rolled over. So they need to bend somewhat.
