The music is good and everything, but I’d tip them more if they were handing out margaritas. I’m just saying.
If those kids can sell candy bars for their “basketball team,” these guys should be able to shake one up on the rocks for me.

I freaking love these guys. I swear, Friday is Mariachi Day. I see a different pair on the 4/5 every Friday afternoon. They get a buck every time.

Everyday is Mariachi Day on the trains, I see them all the time and I never give them a dime. Once when I was working at a station I saw a group of them at the benches counting all their money, all the bills and all the change. I got all excited by seeing this that I went over to them and asked them if they needed help counting the money, they were all laughing.

@Todd: At least they are entertaining. I’d give them a buck before one of those bums that “can’t stay at the shelter” and are “waiting for their benefits.”

I live in Madrid and i swear there are a lot of people doing the same style of music in the subway. If you come from work it is really nice to hear it. It makes me happier. So these people do great work.
