SUBWAYblogger has somewhat of a soft spot for winter. The air is crisp, the city is decorated for the holidays, etc. Unfortunately, there’s about 45 minutes of actual daylight each day.
It does start to become depresing when you leave your apartment in the dark in the morning. Thenn you get off the subway, and it is only slightly brighter out. Go to work, and at the end of a long day, you walk outside…darkness.
If you are lucky enough to have a window in your office, you might catch a glance at the sun. At that point though, doesn’t it just seem like you’re going to see the sun at the zoo or something. I mean, the only time you ever see the sun in its natural environment is through a large window. It’s just a big, depressing exhibit at that point.
Well, the darkness is starting to set in. Each morning and evening as I head for the subway, it gets a little darker.
Ok wow, this is to damn depressing for this early in the morning. Hopefully something funny for the ride home. Later.
Live from the subway, back to you in studio…
