Yesterday when I made my prediction that the transit system might be a little screwy, I forgot that today is also a holiday.

Many schools and federal offices are closed on Election Day. So there’s waaaaaaay less people trying to get around today. So this morning’s anticipation of an insane commute was met by pleasant calmness in the subway system. Hell, I even got a seat!

So yay for Election Day.

Now, if we can manage to keep the crazies off the tracks, it will be an all around great day.

Don’t forget to vote early and often! And remember, CHANGE is good.
